Before becoming a photographer, Bess Greenberg played professional basketball in Europe over five years. During her travels, she fell in love with photography, and now she considers herself a point guard with a camera.Based in Brooklyn, New York, Bess has a background in photojournalism and documentary photography. As a Jack Kent Cooke scholar, Bess was selected as a 2008 photographer intern for the New York Times, while obtaining her Master of Fine Arts degree from the ICP-Bard photography program in New York City.Having been accepted into the European Graduate School to pursue a Phd in Philosophy and Visual Communication in Saas-Fe, Switzerland, Bess deferred entry one year in order to found Little Prince Republic and become the Executive Director of 25CPW.
